Re: Glen Clova Bunkhouse is no more

Thanks for passing along the Carn Dearg hut info, for future reference. Their website doesn't show the price for the hut or if it can be booked for single nights. With 16 beds, getting enough challengers to commit for a particular night or weekend could be an exercise in futility....its usually the Sunday or Monday night (19/20 May for 2019) that people are making their way through this area either to go to Tarfside next day or down through Glen Prosen and to the coast.

I've indulged myself and booked into the hotel :sleeping_accommodation: :bathtub: :toilet:

Re: Glen Clova Bunkhouse is no more

Hi Julie, just home from 4 nights in the Mill lodge at Glen Clova with husband. Expensive, but with facilities to die for. Plus a hot tub soak after a long wet hill days was superb. While not for the challenge, welcome was superb and food good. Climbers bar friendly and welcoming staff. Partner up and splash out on a room to support a very remote place! Enjoy.

Re: Glen Clova Bunkhouse is no more

Unfortunately Braedownie can only be booked by clubs and not individuals.£10 pp per night and a minimum of 5 nights.
