Re: weight

Re: weight

Mine is 12kg incl food and water and is definitely too heavy. There will be pruning at the first post office.

Re: weight

Finally packed, down to 10.7kg (23.5ibs), that includes 4 days food but no liquid. Still time to put more in though 🤪

Re: weight

11.5k 4 days food 750ml of single malt whiskey

Re: weight

Mine is 30 and feels way too heavy... Trying to readjust everything... :)

Re: weight

8.6 kg not including my electronic bits and camera.
No gas or water as I'm flying up to the start.
It does include my walking poles though.
Lighter than I expected - what have I forgotten?

Re: weight

Base weight is 7.4kg, plus an average food stage of 1.9kg.

Repacking it all tonight to see if I can drop some more weight as my small pack is weirdly full!

Re: weight

1.2kg - that's obviously not including liquids and food. Nor gas, camping equipment and clothes or odds and sods.
If I replace my backpack with a plastic bag I think I could get it down to even less. I think I better get packing.

Re: weight

25.6 lb here.
Yep... It's heavy.. 😨😀
