I've been trying to get an answer from the Forestry Commission but so far to no avail,

I was in Fort Augustus last year with a challenger who, even though posted on here no one could find it or get info about this.

I gave a Challenger directions from Morag's last year, and watched him go the wrong way (we did shout, he didn't hear us)
Camping was made available at the Forestry Commission offices at Auchteraw, SW of Fort Augustus, about 2km or so from Jenkins Park, but that was arranged by a local Challenger when it became obvious Cumberland Campsite had changed hands and was no longer taking tourers/tents, I don't know if it will be available again.
