Re: Caldera Cone question

I have one as well but there is almost no wood available on the TGO. It is a windy journey often so I have moved to a MSR Windburner. It was superb hiking around Japan and the fuel savings in wind are significant which ofsets the added 100 grams or so. I used to use meths but there are various reports of experienced hikers getting burned due to it. The difficulty is to know how much fuel to bring but I am always ready to have a no cook meal if needed. Cheers from Canada
