Re: Camping between Falls of Glomach and Alltbeithe

I went up the path on last years challenge and I didn't find it to be much of a problem. As Robin says, there's a bit of exposure and my vettor warned me it could be tricky in high winds, but I didn't think it was that bad. I've done far worse!

As for camping, I did this last year and if you follow the river Abhainn Gaorsaic towards Loch Thuill you will find some nice firm bits to camp on.

Re: Camping between Falls of Glomach and Alltbeithe

Like Paul, I did the Falls and found it a lovely route. A couple of precarious bits but nothing especially challenging in decent weather, though some parts of the path were eroding rapidly. If you're starting at Dornie reaching Allbeithe will be doable due to the Glennan path + following path track being such a fast route, but note after the falls the ground becomes much slower and this may be bit of the slog if the weather is poor. That said, I'm a proponent of HYOH (Hike Your Own Hike) and your own pace/route plan will dictate what feels most comfortable.
