Re: Caption competition!

Er, no.
I was not inviting a Louise and Laura jokes free for all!
Just no.

Re: Caption competition!

Well Stormin my wife and I thought your response very amusing. Nice one. Some people should get a sense of humour. I remember a secret you told me about your stay in a b & b in Braemar. ?

Re: Caption competition!

I would point 'backpacker47' to the guidance at the top of this forum, which is printed in bold capital letters:

"FRIENDLY ASSISTANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT AVAILABLE FOR CHALLENGERS OLD AND NEW,

Re: Caption competition!

Richard, your secret will be safe with me, and visa versa.

Re: Caption competition!

Three days after getting lost in forestry and running out of food, Laura was having second thoughts about being vegetarian.

Ha Ha! I expect the Vegetarian might have already exited...pursued by the Carnivore....

Re: Caption competition!

Alas, Carmilla, that vile website Geographicus has misled me most abominably.

Re: Caption competition!

Despite the vogue for gender balance, Phil was beginning to doubt Alan's strategy to gain a place on the TGOC.

Re: Caption competition!

I cant believe the Airlines lost our packs. All is well.. We got this.
:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I had another one but I changed it. I didn't laugh at myself.

Re: Caption competition!

Two years on, they were beginning to think they may have got the grid reference to the fabled Cheese and Wine party woefully wrong.

Re: Caption competition!

I presume these rainskirts are waterproof?

Re: Caption competition!

Oh, here comes Alan and Andy, do you think Lord Elpus is carrying the wine?

Re: Caption competition!

We're saved! Here comes HMP3 with a chinese menu in his hand! :wolf:

Re: Caption competition!

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's
Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein

Re: Caption competition - we have a winner!

Now that we've recovered from that Intense Full Moon time has been spent poring/pawing over your very wonderful captions and, yes, we have a winner! Hard hard hard, but Emma just squeaked in by a nose with her scholarly reference to Sheridan La Fanu's Carmilla - the first vampire novel (1871). Tho' it was a terribly difficult decision - well done everyone!
