Got an oldish Cairngorms map which shows a bothy to the west of Corndavon Lodge. Is there an estate bothy still in use there?

Steve - it used to be a really good bothy but it's closed now.

It appears the house is still used occasionally, perhaps for hunting parties? Last year there were 2 dead sheep as well, we still put 3 tents in the fenced garden.

The bothy at Corndavon is locked but there's good camping nearby either by the river or up the little burn a few meters - we use it as a DofE campsite.
The MBA bothy at Faindouran a few km to the W is very comfortable and now has a fire.
