Strathcarron to St Cyrus 2017 - photos

I'm enjoying reading people's accounts of their crossings - it's helping with my post-TGO stress disorder.

These are some of the many pictures - with captions for Mr Bailey - I took with an overly-complicated camera and underly-functioning brain.

Days 1 to 3

Days 4 to 6

Days 7 to 9

Days 10 to 12

I'll endorse what everybody else has said: thank-you to Ali & Sue and the top-notch volunteers at Tarfside and challenge control. I didn't realise how much effort those guys put in for the benefit of participants. It was also great to meet so many good folk tramping the hills.

Smashing pictures John and some witty captions. Makes it look like a very long way. Hope to come across you again on another one.

Good to meet you too Willie.

I've been looking at your blog - I thought you were pulling my leg when you said you were walking back. Good on you.

That will be a TGO challenge of the future: West to east across Scotland and then straight back again.

Re: Strathcarron to St Cyrus 2017 - photos

I don't think Mr Bailey will be best pleased by wrong caption.

It's surely Loch Monar not Loch Morar!

Quite right, and thank-you - I refer you to "underly-functioning brain".

Lovely photos JJ!. Overcomplicated the camera may have been but you've produced great photos and some nice cloud effects on many of them.
