It was coming across peoples blogs of past Challenges that sparked my interest and I should thank all the bloggers for the inspiration, information and entertainment that their writing and pictures have given me over the past year or so.

I think I got my planning and gear about right with the mix of hill and glen that I enjoy. I might not pre-book accommodation again as having a room booked in Braemar made my crossing less spontaneous (though I enjoyed the rest). I'll try try to eat better main meals next time than the dismal foil packs that I took.
