I got a place a few days ago!!!

I'm currently in the last stages of planning, reviewing each section. I'm planning to cross the Monadhliath via Loch Killin and Stronelairg. Does anyone know what stage the controversial wind farm development in the area is at and whether this may pose any difficulties for my crossing?

Congratulations on getting a place!

I'm also heading over the same area and from what I've read and been told by others on here, challenge control and the vetters is that the area is under heavy construction.

Currently no access restrictions in place but we need to check in at the site office/gate/etc before crossing.

I thought this may be the case. Not a bother, but may be a bit of a downer. I suppose ill wait to see what happens when I get my route vetted.
