I’m writing this on behalf of Colin and Hilary Harvey who at the moment don’t have access to a Computer.

Colin had a fall while taking part in the Spring Gathering walk and sustained a very badly broken ankle and is still in the Sheffield hospital undergoing treatment before being transferred to Colchester. He would like to thank all those Challengers who came to his aid, made him comfortable and liaised with the Glossop Mountain Rescue team who arranged for him to be airlifted to Sheffield. There was another group of walkers on the hill who also provided welcome assistance whilst waiting for the Mountain Rescue team to arrive. So, very sincere thanks to everyone involved.

Hilary would like to express her thanks and appreciation to everyone at the Spring Gathering, and also to the staff at The Snake Pass Inn, for their concern and for the support they gave her during this very traumatic period. It was all very much appreciated.
