Fort William is a small town so everything is close to the bus station.
Outdoor shop Nevis Sport is about 200mtrs from the bus and does sell Triangia Meths stoves (and other types) so I would assume they could supply Meths.
Ellis Brigham outdoor shop opens up onto the Railway station car park, the bus station is right beside the railway station and you wouldn't even have to cross the busy road. Again about 200mtrs away.
Fort William claims to be the Outdoor capital of Britain. There should be lots of Meths available within 5 minutes of the bus.

If you have time before your bus in Glasgow, there is a Tiso outdoor shop about a five minute walk from the Buchanan Street bus station. That's where I picked up my fuel last year when I did the Challenge.

This is assuming your bus leaves from the Buchanan Street bus station. Your post makes it sound like the bus leaves right from the airport, but I don't know if they do or not.
