Re: wot about the hut before allbetithe do any body have any information about that????

Alltbeithe is a Youth Hostel Click here for details.

The bothy to the west (Camban - NH 053 183) is basic, and is maintained by the Mountain Bothy Association Click here for a recent news story

The track south from Allbeithe that leads to Loch Cluanie via the Allt a' Chòmhlain and An Caorann Mòr can be very wet and muddy.

Re: wot about the hut before allbetithe do any body have any information about that????

I can vouch for that track south from Allbeithe, I went that way on my 2014 TGOC and ended up swearing rather a lot before ending up flat on my face trying to leap a ditch in a boggy stretch. Just getting round into An Caorrann Mor is a bog-fest.

Agreed - I trecked south from Alltbeithe to Clunie last October and think it is one of the wettest Glens I have ever gone down!
