Re: Crossing the Garry south of Blair Atholl

Emma
Happy new year, Mark and Colin.

Time your arrival in Blair Atholl well, Mark, and you will be able to sample the delights of the excellent Watermill Tea Room, which you will walk past after you have crossed the bridge.

I can testify to that.
Wonderful café.

Wonderful café.

Indeed. But beware, sometimes they shut at ten to five. I only wept bitterly for a little while.

It was a blow Emma, but the fish and chip supper with a pot if tea and excellent company cheered me up

Re: Crossing the Garry south of Blair Atholl

I remember fording the Garry one year, after a long walk via Loch Bhac, then tramping up to the Blair Atholl Arms with rather wet feet. Struggling to think why I would have done that than cross this bridge... the thought of macaroni cheese must have rendered me senseless.
