Re: Glen Clova Camping

Well Theo, the good news is that, unlike the Loch Lomond National Park, Cairngorms National Park has not introduced byelaws intended to limit the scope of the Scottish access legislation. So basically you can camp where you like, subject to reasonable restrictions such as proximity to occupied dwellings, and provided you behave responsibly. That's fine for individuals and small groups, but where there are concentrations of campers at obvious Challenge hotspots, the responsible and courteous thing is to comply with any reasonable requests from landowners and managers including rangers. Glendoll can be a busy place, especially at the weekends.

Thanks JD.

Re: Glen Clova Camping

There is a big but airy howff under the SE crag of Red Craig that someone might enjoy using.
