King of the (Scottish) hill

Came across this article while looking into routes for next year's TGO.

Makes for interesting reading - especially the re-wilding of the glens. The estate chap at the Glen Feshie bothy in May reckoned the estate had culled 5,000 deer over two years. It would be handy if they could cull a few ticks too.

The latter part of the story reads like the plot from one of the many Danish thrillers doing the rounds on television.
