I swallowed the pill offered and bought the £20 maps encompassing the Challenge area from ViewRanger. I even figured out how to load the App onto my iPad and 2 of the maps without drama. Then problems arose with S Highlands, it gets so far and then says the server is unavailable. Great customer service from ViewRanger at midnight their time, where they made a Zip.file available for me and all the instructions to file transfer between my computer and iPad but then I get to the very end and the Zip extraction fails.

Anyone else had any issues?

Its just the challenge normally starts in May, not November....

ViewRanger should be commended for their beyond the call of duty Customer Service. Mike worked with me, well into his night, trying several ways to download the one map I couldn't get to work. Finally, he added the necessary tiles to my account so I could download individually. All solved, I certainly can't blame them if I get lost along the way!
