Re: Our 2016 Challenge

Thanks, Martin and Sue.

I've enjoyed this and all your other Challenge accounts.

They are a "must read" for an insight in to how to plan and complete a crossing.

Re: Our 2016 Challenge

Thanks Martin and Sue, really enjoyable account of your crossing & congratulations Martin on your 10th crossing. Also, thanks Sue, for the cakes on train, & leaving Strathcarron;-) made a lovely first morning snack.

Re: Our 2016 Challenge

What a great report! It felt like I was back in Scotland....

On a separate note, you refer several times to you new pack - am I right in thinking it was an Osprey? If so, which one?

Re: Our 2016 Challenge

Hi Lindy, sorry about the delay, the new rucksack was a Deuter, described here:
http://phreerunner.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/deuter-act-lite-6510-rucksack.html
It performed very well, though the fabric of the sack will not be as durable as Karrimor's superb KS 100e fabric on the old Jaguar rucksacks.
