Accommodation at Cougie

Hello all,

Just a wee note to wish you all the best of luck again this year!

Also, we have plenty availability at Cougie Lodge and the Annexe this year - in fact we have been very quiet with bookings. Please let us know if you need a bed (and/or food) at all and I can book you in :)

Many thanks!
Melanie

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

As a first timer on the Challenge I have to ask the question, what exactly do you offer at Cougie Lodge? Is it bed, breakfast, bar, somewhere to camp? I'm currently planning on walking through to Tomich, but it would shorten my day considerably if I were to finish at Cougie, so I would be interested to know what you offer!

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

Hello Paul,

Thanks for your message. We can offer a Bed only, Bed & Breakfast or Dinner Bed & Breakfast for those we know are staying. Our neighbours (my Auntie and Uncle) can also offer space for camping if you would prefer to do this.

We also do tea, coffee, scones, soup, etc. for those passing by during the day.

Many thanks
Melanie

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

Thanks for this Melanie. Although sadly I shan't be calling in this year I'm sure many will be delighted to hear that all systems are go at Cougie Lodge.

I hope that all is well!

Very best wishes

JJ

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

Thank you John! All the best to you too!

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

I'll be passing by on the afternoon of the 14th, so will probably stop in. Thanks for what you do!

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

Great - look forward to seeing you Brian!

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

Great to see you are with us again Melanie.
Sadly won't be there this year because our route takes me much further south over many painful peaks.
Next time I think I'll plan it so it's just a sociable route.
Let's hope the weather is better than days 3 and 4 last year.

All the best to you and your family

Re: Accommodation at Cougie

GOOD LUCK!

And remember, tea, coffee, scones, soup, etc. at Couige Lodge :) xxx
