Fund raising

Hi all just thought i would let you all know that i am fund raising for the challenge this year for my son Leo.Dont worry i wont be carrying a bucket asking for money ha ha. He had a very bad start to his life and was 10 weeks premature, Unfortunately he suffered a small haemorrhage resulting in left side hemiplegia. Intellectually he is like any other baby but for the Hemiplegia but hey he doesnt know anything different so hes happy. I work for a very large company down south and they are right behind me so if you see me waving a big southern water flag on top of a monroe dont panic. What i would ask if you use Facebook please LIKE AND SHARE his page. help leo to walk fund and if you are feeling generous you can donate on that page.
We are aiming to raise a substantial amount of money for a operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy which will make him lead a normal walking life but its not cheap. It will definitly make a difference to his life. please see the links you dont have to be a member of facebook to donate.

he could be on the challenge with is dad and me!!in 2031

Re: Fund raising

No, I'm not on the challenge in 2016, preferring instead to do a pub crawl involving the ten highest pubs in England, providing one of them isn't the Lion Inn at Blakey (cos its off-route).
But the Lad, (who was the youngest challenger twice, I think) wants to have a go next year. That is, if my liver and kidneys survive the high-level pub crawl (which may be in some doubt) and I pass the selection procedure, I may well get to Montrose in 2017, along with #1 son.
