Hi all just thought i would let you all know that i am fund raising for the challenge this year for my son Leo.Dont worry i wont be carrying a bucket asking for money ha ha. He had a very bad start to his life and was 10 weeks premature, Unfortunately he suffered a small haemorrhage resulting in left side hemiplegia. Intellectually he is like any other baby but for the Hemiplegia but hey he doesnt know anything different so hes happy. I work for a very large company down south and they are right behind me so if you see me waving a big southern water flag on top of a monroe dont panic. No, I'm not on the challenge in 2016, preferring instead to do a pub crawl involving the ten highest pubs in England, providing one of them isn't the Lion Inn at Blakey (cos its off-route).
But the Lad, (who was the youngest challenger twice, I think) wants to have a go next year. That is, if my liver and kidneys survive the high-level pub crawl (which may be in some doubt) and I pass the selection procedure, I may well get to Montrose in 2017, along with #1 son.
