Faindouran is now open again

For those thinking of going that way,I got this reply back from Andy Mayhew at MBA today. If the weather is bad I may see you there on 21st May...

"You’ll be pleased to hear that Faindouran is now open again after the collapsed gable was rebuilt last year. Also, the adjacent byre has a new wooden floor to provide additional accommodation.

The fireplace in the bothy has been removed and a stove installed but at present the flue has not been put in – I am waiting to hear whether this is likely to be done by May and will then contact the Challenge co-ordinators to let them know.
