Re: Resupply

Hi Bart,

Yes there is a wee shop/cafe at Onich, a couple km from the ferry. Can't really recall how well stocked it was, but I do remember a good bacon butty last time I was there.

Link to Onich store on Google maps.

Re: Resupply

There is the garage in Dalwhinnie although it is slim pickings.

It is possible to get the train at 9:17 from Dalwhinnie to Kingussie to restock and then get the train back to Dalwhinnie at 10:38.

You will get everything you require in Braemar.

Re: Resupply

Hallo Bart. Welkom!

You can easily send a resupply parcel to Dalwinnie Bunkhouse. A very welcoming place to stay, eat and have a pint!
Ron and Marilyn are certainly willing to help.
In the past years they aranged space to camp as well.

Hope to see you in May/Hopelijk tot ziens onderweg.

Re: Resupply

Are you the Bart who took part in 2009 and finished in Stonehaven perhaps?

Re: Resupply

No I am not. This is my first Challenge. I know that the dutch Bart Horeman did a few Challenges, but he is not on the list this year.

Re: Resupply

That's him! He and I finished together after meeting up several times on the crossing. Sorry for the confusion. Have a great challenge!
