TGOC 2015 blog list (and other stuff that might be handy for TGOC planners)

I've put together a list of blogs from this year's challenge - undoubtedly, I've missed some so if you let me know, I'll update the list.

TGOC 2015 blog list

I've also included some links to NE Scotland info (the Deeside Way and places to finish the Challenge) that you might find useful.

Re: TGOC 2015 blog list (and other stuff that might be handy for TGOC planners)

Hi Ian

Thanks for putting this useful information up on line. My TGO 2015 blog (starting at Mallaig) is http://allanbrownblogspot.wordpress.com/

This has links to photos on Flickr and photos of my 2013 crossing.

In your blog you mention a bypass route for the Deeside Way. is this a variant of the Deeside Way?

Re: TGOC 2015 blog list (and other stuff that might be handy for TGOC planners)

Blog list updated

The Aberdeen bypass is (unfortunately) not a variant on the Deeside Way but a major road from Stonehaven to somewhere north of Aberdeen, bypassing the city.

It crosses the Deeside Way near Maryculter but it doesn't look as if it'll mean closure of the route (according to one of the people working on the road that I spoke to)
