I saw this message on the Mountain Bothies Association webpage and, given that the hat has a couple of Challenge badges on it, thought that someone here may be missing it.

Bill Sylvester has been handed a soft hat which was found on The Dales Way in Cumbria about three months ago. It has obviously been much loved and has a dozen badges sewn on. Amongst the less common is the MBA embroidered badge, but both YHAs, Ultimate Challenge, Seefeld 1200m Tyrol, The Great Outdoors Challenge are also there. There is also a brooch or badge including semi-precious stones such as cairngorms. It occurred to him that someone from the MBA membership may either be able to claim it or suggest a possible route to finding the owner.
