Please vote for the Suilven path restoration

This is a European-wide online vote held by the European Outdoor Conservation Association. The only project from the UK is to restore the path to Suilven, one of the most iconic hill in Scotlands, so good they put it on the front of the Corbett book, even though it's not quite a Corbett.

The path is badly eroded just below the bealach and very peaty down the bottom and, as community landowners, we don't have the money to restore it.

You can follow the link here or from the John Muir Trust website:

http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/news/you-can-help-suilven-with-a-simple-click/0013827/

And please share with all your hill-walking friends!

Thanks

Vanessa

Tick - done

Re: Please vote for the Suilven path restoration

Me too - eventually!

Maybe I'm a bit thick (OK I AM a bit thick ) but at first I just clicked on the project and thought that was it. Not so ...

I thought it odd that there was no acknowledgement, so I looked a bit harder and ...doh-oh.

So, for the bewildered like me, the voting page is HERE. Select Suilven, tick the Terms & Conditions box and then (the final stage) click on the "Cast Your Vote" panel which appears bottom right.

And you'll get a little message thanking you for your vote.
