Re: In case anyone is interested ...

No I'm not - I've just finished day 2.

I couldn't get anything written up yesterday as I didn't get away from Bush House until 8.30, and then the Thameslink trains were completely up the spout, so it was about 10.15 pm before I got home, and I still needed to eat ...

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Excuses ... excuses ...

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Glad we were spared the underpants photo

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

I found it anyway.
Is there a reason it is done one picture per post?
Nice route.

Is there a reason it is done one picture per post?

Yes - I'm not clever enough to do it any other way.

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Having started her account after you, Judith is now ahead of you on day 3

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

My Day 6 is up now! Come on, Jezza, pull your finger out.

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Enjoying your write up, Judith

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Day 3 now complete.

Judith - may I remind you of what the organisers are ALWAYS at pains to point out ... it is NOT a race

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Day 4 now written up, too.

Any chance of a link to Judith's account of her crossing??

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Here's my 2015 blog page with links to the days I have written up so far.

Judith's 2015 crossing

More to follow.....

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Wow! You know how to do the clever linky thing. I don't know how to do that.

Just read your crossing. Very enjoyable. But no wonder you got it up so much quicker than me ... your word to day ratio is, shall we say, a little on the low side compared to mine

Mutters under breath.... And also whilst walking, Jeremy.

Thanks for reading!

.... but you did read the full post-Challenge write-ups, didn't you Jeremy? You've commented on the short reports ..... but I wrote those on my phone "on the trail" so didn't say much.

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

And your fleece count is lower, Judith

Um ... I followed the link and read what I found there. Is there more??

*goes back to look and see what he has missed*

*wonders if this is the time and/or th eplace to quote Martial, as translated in the Penguin Classics series; thinks "ach what the hell ... I'll do it anyway!"*

The epigrammaticist's belief
Is he amuses since he's terse
But where's the use in being brief
At length? The length of a book of verse!

It was the last couple which really came to mind ... but the first couplet is necessary to give it context.

Robin - remember the old joke?

Q: What's the difference between a Mountain Leader and a sheep?
A: The sheep's only got one fleece!

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Nor does a sheep have underpants

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

I think I caught the oblique drift there. Would Judith be the Velox to your Martial then, Jeremy?

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Phil, are you referring to the Geococcyx velox? Seems apt . . .

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Jez seems to be taking a mid-week bargain break in Drumnadrochit

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Have you bought a house in Drumnadrochit, Jeremy?

Re: In case anyone is interested ...

Nooooo ... just been distracted from blogging by the minor matter of making arrangements for the rest of my working life (ut supra)
