Gelder Shiel Bothy

Hi All,

As other posts state the area about the Bothy and the Bothy itself look to be out of bounds over the mid weekend of Challenge.

I will put up notices in Braemar to this effect and also at entrance to Balmoral Estate from Braemar.

My own thoughts are that there is plenty of camping space about the Bothy, and in Glen Muick, however weather could put the Bothy at Shielin of Mark under some pressure.
