Not that I'm an alky or anything, but I'm a little worried that the onboard bar will have closed by the time I join the sleeper at Crewe at 23:56. Does anyone know what time it closes?

(By the way, don't wait up for me - I'm travelling on the Thursday night!)

The old one used to shut when people went to bed, which was usually before Crewe, although I did once manage a drink and haggis, neeps and tatties when I got on there, as they hadn't completely shut up shop and I looked desperate! I haven't travelled on it since Serco took it over, so no info, but ask the cabin attendant who checks your ticket and s/he may be able to help.

My train arrives at Paddington about 17:55 so I'll be at the Bree Louise by the allotted time.

Although after one of their pies plus 3/4 pints of their excellent ale plus a backpack, which by 21:00, will seem to weigh 25Kgs, I doubt I'll make it to Euston in mere seconds.

Now I have seen the dreadful collection of reprobates and ne'er-do-wells attending, I may go straight for the station.
I don't want to be corrupted into their evil despotic ways.
