£400,000 wouldn't even get you a 3 bedroom house in Cambridge.
Aha I think I get your drift - don't you have a three bedroom house in the environs of Cambridge, Andrew? Have you put in a bid?

Jolly good.

Can I reserve the family en-suite please for the Chally Saturday (I like plenty of room to hang up dripping tents etc). I trust there will be "mates rates" for us TGOers.

Sadly we have a 4 bedroom house OUTSIDE of the Environ of Cambridge and will never ever be able to afford a house in Cambridge.
Cambridge houses are strictly for people that already live their or rich ******* from Londonium.
In fact, we would struggle buying a disused shed in Cambridge.
I would go for the Moorfield but I would have to get a divorce first, and then I would be several hundred thousand adrift.
