My partner Ian Adamson has been on the last 3 Challenges with me but is having a break this year and instead, while I'm walking from Shiel Bridge to Dunnottar Castle he will be canoeing/sailing on the Lochs.

So if you spot him in our cream coloured "M" reg Autosleeper Duetto campervan with an orange canoe on top Challengers are most welcome to call in for a cup of tea and a chat he'd love to see you!!! - Molly will be well stocked with hot drinks, biscuits and plasters!!!

If you see him out on the water as you pass be give him a wave!

If I see him on Loch Arkaig I'll make him a brew and tell him Loch Ba on Rannoch Moor makes for a great day out.

Loch Ba to the east coast, paddlers dream, with just the odd portage round fish ladders. He could get to Montrose before you that way.

If the weather is anything like my last Challenge he could probably paddle down the road quicker than I could walk it!

It's quite often possible to paddle, road or no road boat or no boat.Tea and biscuits would be great though.Thank you for the offer.
