2 bits of good news (possibly) from Kincraig- centre of the universe.

Good news 1.
The community coucil is having a re-think over its long-ago decision to support the application from the Allt Duine windfarm, and everyone on the electoral register is being balloted. (Scotland's getting to quite like referendums/referenda.)

good news 2.

The proposed new extension to the Speyside way from Aviemore to Kincraig could be ready by Easter. Challengers will be able to walk off-road from Kingussie to the fleshspots via the Badenoch and Speyside ways.
