Dominic and Kate Goodwin have sent us the following funeral announcement:

Peter Goodwin of Ludlow, died on the Isle of Rum as the result of a climbing accident, on 23rd August 2014, aged 72 years.
Adored father of Kate and Dominic. A cherished granddad and brother. Loved and so dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Cremation to take place at Hereford Crematorium on Friday 19th September at 1.30pm (black optional), followed by a reception in Ludlow.
Family flowers only please, with kind donations received in Peter’s memory being divided between The John Muir Trust and Lochaber Mountain Rescue.

Donations in memory of Peter can either be made directly to the John Muir Trust and Lochaber Mountain Rescue or via the funeral director. We're sure those among his Challenge friends who cannot attend will raise a glass to him on the 19th.
