It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we find ourselves penning these words in memory of Peter whom we met on the first challenge for all of us back in 1999.
We subsequently had the pleasure of sharing his passion of the hills and mountains on most, if not all, of our challenge crossings, and fortunately have many happy memories of walking, camping and fine dining with both Peter and Ursula over the years. Our friendship went beyond the challenge experiences and we also have happy memories of times spent time in each other's homes with Peter kindly introducing us to areas In Wales previously unbeknown to us.
It is hard to accept that we have lost our friend, and our special thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Kate and Dominic, his family of whom he was so proud, and to all who had the pleasure in knowing him.

What very sad news. We knew Peter ( and Ursula of course ) from their earliest Challenge days. Peter will be greatly missed from the Challenge, and from the many other clubs he contributed to. Our sincere condolences to Ursula and family.
