Kilchoan to Tangleha' - write-up complete

All 14 days now written up, with pictures (one picture per post: that's just how I write it).

Re: Kilchoan to Tangleha' - write-up complete

Jeremy,

Just finished reading your write up.
Most enjoyable.

I also finished at Tanglha' and got my picture taken. This was earlier in the day than when you finished.
It seems so long ago now.

Are you able to speak about the obscure technicality that negated your crossing. Just trying to stop me from doing the same thing, in hopefully, my future crossings.

Hope to meet you sometime.

Thanks, Sandy

Re: Kilchoan to Tangleha\' - write-up complete

Sandy ...

My crossing wasn't negated by any obscure technicality.

The question WAS "My greatest fear is ..."

And the obscure technicality was my answer to THAT question.

Then they changed the question ... but the answer you give remains in place. (If you check out some of the older posts, when the question was "If Scotland was a cake it would be ..." then you'll find some pretty entertaining results, I would imagine

Jeremy,
I think I understand.
Moving the goalpost after the event is downright naughty.
So you will have a lot of folks wanting to be your pal come next year.
Thanks for your answer.

Re: Kilchoan to Tangleha - write-up complete

Well ... several have asked.

But, quite apart from the fact that I want to complete ten solo crossings (there are many folk who have completed ten crossings; but comparatively few who have completed ten solo crossings), I ought to advise those who see this as an easy way to get on the 2015 Challenge that I HAVE been asked by Deputy Dawg for a list of those who ask, so he can make sure that their names are taped to the bottom of the hat before the draw commences ...

I have not given him such a list. Yet.
