As a stranger, i wont comment on this decision in itself.
But i am happy i hiked in the Monadliaths a few years ago, i am afraid this is an area of Scotland i wont visit anymore.
In 2012 it was already dreadful to see all those tracks west of Aviemore.

Outraged about the turbines but was far more more sorry to see your new trail name Mike, we miss our faithful hairy pals when they're gone.

Scottish residents should write to Fergus Ewing (as can others making a tourist argument). My letter is here - feel free to copy.
