On a similar theme to Jeans--- In December I booked accommodation for the Saturday 17th at the Ben Avon and hiked over there on Sunday to drop off a small parcel. When I arrived the receptionist advised they had no record of the booking and were full all that week with a group of fishermen. I quoted the Laterooms ref and they magically said they would juggle things round and the room would be available. Bit disturbing though and I've since contacted Laterooms to further confirm things are indeed OK.Anyone with a booking there might like to reconfirm it.

I had a similar issue last year. The Braemar Lodge Hotel had "forgotten" my booking placed through Laterooms 6 months earlier. I checked with them with a week to go and could also quote a booking reference. (They had taken a single booking for the whole of the hotel). Eventually they let me use one of their cabins for the price of the single room B&B I had booked.
