It's taken a while to get around to, but we're looking to embed this into the Challenge's own web pages within The Great Outdoors magazine's website.

While this kind of thing doesn't yet form part of our official monitoring and safety procedure, it's a very useful reassurance for relatives, and a great facility for Challenge watchers (yes, you have stalkers!), and we'd invite anyone carrying any kind of tracking device to link into the map if possible.

Most such systems offer their own map for individuals but the facility to have one map on which we can monitor all carriers' progress is very much appreciated.

Please check the shareyouradventure / Social Hiking pages for instructions and guidance. Once it's set up I'll adjust the URL in the header on the message board page, and alert all via the board, but this is something that can be acted on now.
