I, like Gordon, an one of the 7 Ardrishaig starters. Gordon and I will probably be on the same train and bus. However I'm not convinced I am going to see many Challengers this year. I'm guessing that most Ardrishaig starters will be, like me, somewhere near Carron Bothy on Friday night. After that who knows, although Julie's posting (about the wigwams) indicates that some of the Oban starters will be nearby by Sunday. (Your wigwam is about 10km ahead of me on Sunday, Julie, just a bit too far. Nice idea though). But I will be in the Killin Hotel on Tuesday and Wednesday nights (with a rest day in between). So if anyone wants to arrange to meet - let me know - see you there.

You'll be surprised, Colin, the strange places you meet challengers even those starting at different locations. I will end up in the mountains north of Killin for Monday & Tuesday bypassing that lovely little village. If you haven't been there before, be sure to visit the clan burial site on the east side of the bridge. Very picturesque.
