Re: final proclamations?

I was wondering the same thing.

There's normally a mailing with details of all the declared runners and riders, and some funny statistics like the person who's planned a route going over all four 4,000-footers or which takes them through the Lairg Ghru from South East to North West (or both ...), or is completing their Nth challenge and ending at the Nth different place ending in ~ Ness, or a group of four with an aggregate age of over 300 who all happen to be called Anne (the name of the Queen of Scotland their aggregate age ago) and so on and so forth.

It also, ciritcally, gives you everyone's Challenge numbers.

(When I was on my first Challenge in 2000, I met a D of E group near Loch Treig. They asked me if I was on the Challenge, and when I confirmed that I was, they asked me my Challenge number ... which they then proceeded to note down on a list with a load of other Challenge numbers on it. Somebody had put them up to train-spotting Challengers
