Re: Four weeks

Have fun, John. Arenig Fawr and Arenig Fach are beautiful, and very lightly visited compared with the big beasts of Northern Snowdonia. But watch your water supplies, and take every opportunity to refill. I found myself struggling for water ...

Re: Four weeks

Just chill out people.
4 weeks to go.
Not a problem.
Either you will or you won't, but think positive and assume you will, cos you know you will.

Training now, will make little difference.

Just wait and then enjoy it.

It is an adventure.

You wanted to do it.
And you will love it.

Well, most of it.

Have a good one.

Re: Four weeks

Thanks Jeremy, soon off! The route is long enough that I'll miss Arenig Fach this time around. I'll fill up when I can, cheers. Enjoy the Drumochter hills!

Re: Four weeks

Jaya John

Thanks. I fully intend to

Re: Four weeks

THREE WEEKS AND ONE DAY NOW .....

just about time for Louise to have re-packed 21 times then?

So I am getting rid of this bloody cold I have acquired from somewhere now.
I say cold but obviously it is MAN FLU so far far worse

In the meantime I must earn enough money to pay for the trip (that's mainly the whisky to keep Sloman Happy), and bribe everyone here so I can go.

Be 2 weeks soon eh...

Re: Four weeks

Just finished the Moray Way as a warm up exercise.

Muscles have been overheated, sinews twisted and stretched, gear tested and I now know that I am neither fit nor ready!

Re: Four weeks

just finished reinforcing the ties out and seam sealing the origami 3, that we will use for the TGO and this summer with our son in Iceland.
