Re: f.a.o. Joy - Rannoch Moor

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for sharing details and pictures of your 2010 route.

I'll be starting from Kilchoan and following a similar route through Glen Raannoch and ultimately heading for Dunnottar Castle. Great to read about and see potential overnight stops.

I'm sure our routes may cross at some point.

Bernie

Cross at some point?

I suspect we'll be enjoying a uisge beatha or three together before we even set off. I'm starting from Kilchoan this year, too.

We'll be going off in different directions, though. I'll be heading south on day 1.

I enjoyed reading about your 2010 crossing, Jeremy

Glad you liked it, Robin.

I hope you enjoy my accounts of 2000, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 just as much

Re: f.a.o. Joy - Rannoch Moor

Got it now Jeremy, thanks.
Such an interesting read of all those other routes too. Lots of ideas to incorporate into possible future crossings.
So - Rannoch Moor - not a dangerous wallow then for a solo walker?

Well ... I wouldn't seek to dissuade you from carrying a coracle ...
