Whilst I've previously let folks know about the walking gear in Lidl etc, I've decided to go upmarket and let you know that PHD gear are getting ready with their Spring sale. Mmmm - PHD kit - not shiny but very light and oh so warm. A few more shekels than average but worth every penny IMHO (and no, I'm not on commission). Just ask Professor Google to find PHD website because I'm not clever enough to do address clicky things.

PHD are the absolute dog's spheriods. The custom bag they put together for me in '99 is still mint. We use their gilets and jackets on a daily basis. My fiend tore her achilles tendon and used their very wonderful down boots throughout the recovery process. And they are humans of the very first water - repaired one of my jackets at no charge after Mango Terrier had flossed her teeth on the zip!
