Can anyone suggest affordable accommodation in Torridon?

The SYHA is full (of Challengers probably!) and all other accommodation I've looked at is very pricey.

There are 3 in our party and we'll be walking into Torridon on the Wednesday, ready for the big 'off' on the Friday morning.

A triple room at the Torridon Inn is £145 B&B per night (£48.33 each). I stayed there in 2011 and it was pretty good - plus of course you don't have to walk too far for a pint ...

... although it is a bit of a trek to sign out!

I know our Great Leader and various other Venerable Challengers have mentioned Tom and Liz Forrest who run a B and B nearby. Maybe they would be able to help you?

Good value at £36 pp B&B. Plus I think Tom & Liz might arrange a lift to the youth hostel to sign out.
