Re: COUGIE

oh dear, I am so saddened by this news. My memories of Val and her lovely family are such good ones, as are my memories of Cougie for its other worldliness and peace. My thoughts go with them with the hope they can all stay strong for each other.

Re: COUGIE

That is a dreadful shame.
I have stayed at Cougie a few times and dropped in a few more over the years.

Wonderful people.

Luckily I did manage to see Val last time I was there.
My heart goes out to Val and her family.

Re: COUGIE

Been a few years since I stayed at Cougie just thinking about Val makes me smile ...that's a good thought to hold on to I recommend it!

Re: COUGIE

It would be a nice gesture if any challengers passing the house doff there cap on the way past

Re: COUGIE

Sorry to hear.

Re: COUGIE

We will raise a dram in tribute to them in the Highlands.

Re: COUGIE

What a sad,sad message. So many times I have been made welcome by
the family. And so many stories to relive the past through.
Yes sorely missed. Condolences to the family at this sad time.

Re: COUGIE

Thanks for letting us know, Alan. I'm not surprised, but very sad.

Re: COUGIE

Sad news, indeed. What a wonderful welcome I had at Cougie on my first Challenge. My thoughts are with Val and her family.

Re: COUGIE

Very sad news indeed, Alan Macdonald and I have stayed there on a previous challenge and met most of the family. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
