Train and Ferry bookings

I have booked the Glasgow Queens Street Station to Mallaig train journey and it appears I need to still wait a few days to book the return from Montrose to Glasgow.
We are going up on the 8th to Mallaig and plan on taking the 12:45 ferry to Inverie... the count down is on- 74 days, 28 minutes until we fly.

Re: Train and Ferry bookings

ok, so I forgot to put my question in!
My only option was to pick up my tickets at the station, there wasn't an email option-- is this normal or did I miss something on the options?

Thanks Craig

Re: Train and Ferry bookings

Hi Craig,

Just make sure to bring the same payment card you used to pay for the tickets, for when you collect them from a ticket machine in Glasgow Queen Street station.

I don't think you missed anything in the options. Tickets by e-mail aren't offered for most UK rail journeys as far as I know (the Caledonian Sleeper is an exception, I have e-mail tickets for that). So usually the choices are to receive paper tickets by post or collected from a ticket machine.

Thank you.

Re: Train and Ferry bookings

Don't forget you also need the confirmation number that should be on your booking email.

I collected my tickets yesterday, quite painless.

All the best.
