State of the Nation, Jan 17, 2014

State of play, January 17, 2014.

Routes received: 147 (68%)
Routes to be assigned to vetters: 5
Bumped for pre-vet revision: 1
Being vetted: 29
Returned for post-vet revision: 15
"Good to go": 97 (45%)

We're now into the busiest time of year for the vetters and anyone submitting a route at this stage can expect to have to allow the full 21 days for return of comments, so thanks in advance for your patience.

In fact routes are coming in faster than they can be properly processed.

There have also been a handful of withdrawals for various reasons; the five folk who've been moved off the SB List on to the main event list have been informed this afternoon by email. Those now in the SB List's top 10 will be given a heads-up this evening.

For those curious, there are around 64 routes to be received; thanks to everyone who's got their routes in so far.

Re: State of the Nation, Jan 17, 2014

Hi John,

Thank you for State of the Nation notes, it's nice to hear how the event is developing. As someone who starts getting excited about going just after the end of the last year's walk, I'm grateful for all input. (yes I know it's a bit sad)

Liz

You are not alone Liz, I too am that sad. But it makes me incredibly organised in time for the next one!!

Frankly I'm loving these stats. And good luck and courage to those on the SB list. Hang in there, little tomatoes!
