Need New Maps?

Anyone out there needing new maps might like to check out the Dash4It website- some stonking savings - I've found their service to be excellent in the past.

And, will there be any Tock's Totally Triffic Trekking Tips coming our way, Sir?

Maps?
Who uses maps.
All you need is just a mobile phone with a GPS.
Honest, that's right isn't it...

ONLY JOKING!

Have used Dash4it for ages.

Re: Need New Maps?

Can vouch for this website too - excellent prices & service.

Re: Need New Maps?

Ditto to their service. The maps usually arrive by first class the next day.

Re: Need New Maps?

Apparently obsolete...

I still use a lot of these!

Re: Need New Maps?

Good to see my Betamax is not on the bin list. It's crackin gear!

Re: Alphabet of the obsolete

Alan Sloman

I still use a lot of these!

Maybe we need to update that alphabet!

Re: Alphabet of the obsolete

As Lady Gaga once said:

“Do you know the feeling, when your heart is so hurt, that you could feel the blood dripping?”

But I actually prefer Theodore Roosevelt's

“Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.”

Re: Alphabet of the obsolete

Funnily enough, Al, Miss W follows Theodore's advice.

But were you able to look further down the alphabet, there would be an entry under 'P'

Re: Need New Maps?

And people laugh at me when I say I use string and a magnifying glass with my maps to work out distances for my routes.

Does that make string obsolete? Imagine a world without string...

Re: Need New Maps?

Well, at least paper isn't obsolete!
