As an Individual member of the BMC I was able to get the benefits of proper insurance cover and discounts on purchases eg 15% at Cotswold Outdoors.
When I joined the Over The Hill Club which is affiliated to the BMC (you get all the same benefits - but it costs less) I not only had the BMC benefits, but, I've also been able to get to know and go on club meets with some great people.
And, The Over The Hill Club was formed off the back of the TGO Challenge, so there was an immediate common factor on joining.
