I'm not sure about the Haglofs you mention but use the Mountain Equipment's Firefox jacket frequently which is also gortex active & have got on really well with it. Really light, no problems with regards to its waterproofing - I haven't noticed any significant reduction between that & my other gortex jackets & the breath ability is great, which along with the pit zips in the Firefox work great for me. I wouldn't have any concerns about the gortex active. Although I use mountain equipment for my jackets - like Haglofs as a brand too. Have a synthetic gillet that I wear tonnes. Hope that helps?!!
