Crossing Rannoch Moor

I've always wanted to do this and am thinking about incorporating this in a future route.
Are there any Challenge crossing reports which include this section that I could read?
How bad is it in the section beyond the landrover track? How does it compare with - say - the last kilometre of the Bendronaig to Pait Lodge path?
Is there firmer ground higher up which can be followed?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated from those who have been this way.
Thanks

Re: Crossing Rannoch Moor

There are many routes across Rannoch Moor but I will assume that you are referring to the "easy one" from Kingshouse to Rannoch Station. If so there are no problems other than wet feet. There is a small diversion around Black Corries Lodge but other than that it is an easy path all the way.

Re: Crossing Rannoch Moor

Thank you very much Peter. I thought it might be dangerous bog in parts. Wet feet I can manage. (Yes I was referring to the Scottish Hill track route)
